Engineers who have built the machines we advise on.
AgriMachinery Consulting was founded on a simple premise: the best consulting for a farm-machinery maker is done by people who have stood on the shop floor, sat for the certification, and sold through the dealer network. Our partners are those people.
From the operating seat to the advisory seat.
AgriMachinery’s founders spent decades inside farm-machinery manufacturing — engineering products, commissioning lines, sitting for type approval, filing under FMCS, signing dealer agreements, and watching the slow compounding of quality, share, and margin that distinguishes a genuinely well-run machinery maker from one that merely looks like one. That experience is the single thing we trade on.
We founded AgriMachinery to bring that operator depth to the consulting seat — because India’s many small and unorganised machinery makers rarely get advice from people who have actually built and certified a machine. The work these manufacturers actually need is not a generic strategy deck. It’s judgment under constraint: which testing body, which subsidy route, which dealer to appoint, where the cost is hiding on the shop floor. Our founding bet was that there was demand for a firm that scoped its engagements around those outcomes, priced them per deliverable, and staffed them with engineers who had done the work.
That bet has held. AgriMachinery works exclusively in agricultural and farm machinery — tractors, power tillers, rotavators, harvesters, balers, seed drills, sprayers, threshers and reapers — from certification and subsidy access to dealer-network build and shop-floor transformation. Our headcount remains deliberately small. Our focus is deliberately narrow. And every piece of work is still led personally by an engineer who has operated in the sector.
AgriMachinery Consulting is a specialist division of AgPro Consulting Private Limited (CIN U70200DL2025PTC450905), incorporated in 2025, with operating teams in Pune and New Delhi. All engagements, invoicing and contracting are in the name of AgPro Consulting Private Limited.
Vision and Mission
A professionalised Indian farm-machinery industry — small makers run with the rigour of modern manufacturing, building machines the world will buy.
To deliver operations, certification, subsidy, and market work that moves a machinery maker forward in measurable ways — and puts better, affordable machines in the hands of more farmers.
Four differentiators.
- Engineer-leaders, not pitch-writers
- Every engagement is led by a partner who has carried the operating seat they now advise. Domain depth before domain jargon.
- On the shop floor, at the test track
- Teams embedded in Pune and New Delhi — 15 km from ARAI, a short drive from the test sites, and walking distance from the regulatory ministries. We work where machinery is built and certified, not from a deck.
- Built to outlast the engagement
- Every outcome is scoped for the factory but evaluated on whether your team can sustain it after we leave — systems you own, not dependence on us. Better machines reach more farmers as a result.
- Fixed-fee, scoped, transparent
- No running clocks, no contingent retainers, no volume plays. Every engagement carries a written outcome, a fixed fee, and a partner named to the work.
The people who lead every engagement.
Portraits are being commissioned; the monograms below sit in each partner’s slot until real photography lands.

Founding director with a career spanning farm-machinery manufacturing, product engineering, and the testing-and-certification system. Engineer-first, operator-second — and the author of AgriMachinery’s factory-readiness assessment.
Leads our certification and homologation practice. Deep, hands-on experience across BIS / FMCS, ARAI / ICAT / FMTTI type approval, and CMVR / TREM-IV emissions for tractors and implements.
Leads manufacturing, quality, and sourcing engagements. Prior operating roles running machinery plants, building vendor bases, and driving cost and throughput on the shop floor.
How we run the firm.
- Say it plain
- We write plans in language an operating team can read without a consulting glossary. No synergy. No leverage as a verb.
- Honest no, not a soft yes
- If we can’t help, we say so inside the first call. If the engagement should be declined mid-stream, we decline it — and refund the retainer tranche.
- One partner, end-to-end
- The partner who scopes the work leads the work. No junior-analyst hand-off, no mystery deck reveal at the end.
- The farmer runs the machine
- Every machine we help certify, cost, or sell ends up in a farmer’s field. We don’t forget who finally puts it to work.
Pune · New Delhi
Two offices, working alongside each other. Partners are in both. Field engagements run across India’s machinery clusters; the Pune office sits beside ARAI and the test sites, the New Delhi office beside the ministries.
